Legend of Vox Machina Confirms Major Time Jump in Season 4

Critical Role’s animated series, The Legend of Vox Machina, has been released yearly, with a planned break in 2025 for the new series, The Mighty Nein. Prime Video has announced that season four of The Legend of Vox Machina will premiere on June 3, 2026, with three new episodes released each week.

Game of Thrones Wants to Conquer Theaters

Ever since the TV show Game of Thrones was popular, people have talked about making a movie. Recently, The Hollywood Reporter interviewed George R.R. Martin, the author of the A Song of Ice and Fire books, and reported that Warner Bros. is seriously considering a new project. This could be a spin-off series or a large-scale movie, similar to Dune, focusing on the story of Aegon Targaryen – the first Targaryen king – and his conquest of Westeros after leaving Valyria. Essentially, it would tell the story of how the Iron Throne came to be!

How The Rookie Landed the Dropout Kids

Crossovers between TV shows usually happen to promote other programs owned by the same company. For example, NBC might have characters from its Chicago dramas face a big crisis together, or CBS could have people from The Young and the Restless appear on its newer soap opera, Beyond the Gates. So, when fans of Rookie and Dropout saw this week’s crossover, they might have assumed it was a similar marketing move. However, Rookie’s creator, Alexi Hawley, says the idea was much simpler: he was just a big fan of Dropout and wanted to collaborate with them. He reached out to Sam, Dropout’s creator, with the idea, even admitting they didn’t know each other, and asked if a crossover was possible.

The 6 Horror Franchises Scary Movie 6 Needs to Roast

After a long break, horror movies are popular in theaters again. The trailer for the new Scary Movie 6 is entertaining, blending classic references like Jason Voorhees on the subway with a funny take on the famous scene of kids running. However, including more subtle nods to popular horror franchises could make the latest film from the Wayans Brothers clever and surprising, instead of just relying on predictable jokes.

Highguard shutting down one month after launch

I’m really bummed to hear that Highguard is shutting down. Apparently, even though over 2 million of us checked it out, the developers, Wildlight, just couldn’t keep enough players engaged to make it work long-term. They said the servers will be up until March 12th, which is good, and they’re even releasing one last update tonight or tomorrow! It’s adding a new character class called a Warden, a new weapon, and ways to level up your account and unlock skills. It’s a bittersweet ending, but at least they’re going out with a final gift to the community.
