Get ready, Assassin’s Creed Shadows fans! Ubisoft has just released a new update for the game.
The new 1.1.10 update is available now! It looks straightforward, but it includes important improvements and features, especially for players using Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 Pro.
Bringing Mouse, Keyboard, and Bug Corrections to Japan

Ubisoft’s latest update brings a major new feature to the Nintendo Switch 2: support for mouse and keyboard controls. This allows players to experience the game’s Feudal Japan setting with the accuracy typically found on PCs, improving both stealth and combat responsiveness.
We want players to be able to customize how they play as both Naoe and Yasuke. As we say, it’s all about letting you fight, play, and win your own way.
As a PS5 Pro owner, I’m super excited about this update! It finally adds PSSR 2, which basically means things are going to look a lot sharper and run smoother right away. It’s a big upgrade to the graphics and performance, and I can’t wait to try it out.
Update 1.1.10 is available now, with important improvements and new features, especially for players on Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 Pro.
The Bo weapon, previously only available through the “Claws of Awaji” expansion, is now available to all players! Once you find your first Unique Bo, you’ll start finding more as rewards from enemies, in chests, and from traders throughout Japan.
This update fixes a lot of bugs, both small and large. Key improvements include resolving crashes, making fast travel consistently available, and finally allowing players who’ve completed everything to reach 100% completion – which is a huge improvement for completionists like myself!

Ubisoft quietly added a couple of improvements to combat as part of a recent update. Enemies can now be affected by up to five negative status effects at once, and the “Oni’s Rage” perk for the Kanabo weapon now clearly states it has a 25% chance to inflict a bleed effect with each kill. It’s a bit unusual to find these changes listed with regular bug fixes, but they should make battles more interesting.
We’ve fixed some major bugs that were stopping players from completing the “The Winter Raiders” and “Brothers In Arms” quests. You should now be able to finish them without getting stuck. You can find a complete list of all the changes here, but be warned – it’s a pretty long update, so you might want to get a coffee first!
