The developers of Cookie Jam are really embracing Halloween this week! All the puzzles seem to be Halloween-themed, like questions about who’s there, alien visitors, and even magic users. The latest puzzle – asking for a word to describe something scary – was particularly challenging for me, as it’s not a word I use often.
Anwer to “An adjective to describe something scary” in Cookie Jam
There are lots of words we use to describe things that are scary, like horrible, frightening, or terrifying. Initially, I suspected the answer to this puzzle would be quite unpleasant. I did lose one attempt along the way, but eventually, after some difficulty, I managed to solve it.
- An adjective to describe something scary – Ghoulish
How often do you actually hear someone say “be honest”? I hardly ever do! It’s good to revisit words we don’t use much, and that’s exactly what Wordle helps with. I’m going to try and start using the word “ghoulish” more – it actually sounds pretty cool, don’t you think?
This next question is just as challenging as the last one: “Doors in haunted houses are often doing this.” I’m honestly not sure of the answer right now, but I have a little time to think it over while I try to earn some points. Good luck to everyone!
