Adin Ross shuts down requests to pay Chud the Builder’s $1.25M bail

Adin Ross has strongly refused to pay bail for Chud the Builder, even after a recorded phone call surfaced where Chud reportedly asked him for financial assistance.

Dalton Eatherly, known online as Chud the Builder, is in jail facing attempted murder charges. He allegedly shot a man near the Montgomery County Courthouse in Clarksville, Tennessee on May 13, 2026.

His bail has been set at $1.25 million, but reports indicate he can’t afford it and is asking for financial assistance to be released.

Chud the Builder allegedly begs Adin Ross for help in leaked phone call

A recording of a phone call reportedly between Eatherly and popular Kick streamer Adin Ross is circulating online. In the call, Eatherly urgently asks Ross for financial assistance to cover his bail.

Hey Adin, if you can help me get released, please also help with my bail. I can’t get to my money right now – no one can access my donations, gifts, or cryptocurrency wallets while I’m still here. I need to be out so I can complete the necessary verification steps to access all of my funds.

Eatherly even volunteered to box in Adin Ross’s events without pay, explaining he was looking for a wealthy sponsor to back him.

Reports suggest Adin Ross and his legal team are trying to help secure the $1.25 million bail for ChudTheBuilder. This comes after a voice message from Chud, reportedly recorded while he was in jail, surfaced online. In the message, Chud allegedly offered to fight for free if Adin would help get him released, pleading with Adin to “get me out of here.”

Adin Ross says he will ‘absolutely not’ pay Chud the Builder’s bail

However, Ross firmly opposes paying bail for Chud, as he revealed in a live stream on May 17th. Someone watching the stream directly asked Ross to consider it, suggesting it would create a lot of interesting video clips.

“F**k no,” Ross answered. “Absolutely f**kin’ not. The hell?”

Adin Ross denied rumors he’d pay the $1.5 million bail for ChudTheBuilder, and he became upset with his viewers when they suggested he should. Honestly, it’s surprising anyone thought Adin would help him.

Adin Ross has a history of helping other streamers by paying their bail. For example, he reportedly paid $20,000 to get YouTube’s IShowSpeed out of jail after a false police report, known as ‘swatting,’ led to his arrest in 2022.

Eatherly has been charged by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office with attempted murder, as well as several related crimes: using a gun while committing a serious felony, aggravated assault, and putting someone in danger with a deadly weapon.

The situation is still under active investigation, with Chud’s next hearing scheduled for May 21st.
