The sequel to Now You See Me brings back Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Isla Fisher, Lizzy Caplan, and Morgan Freeman. Joining them are new cast members Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, Ariana Greenblatt, and Rosamund Pike. In this installment, the “Four Horsemen” use their magic and illusions to reveal the dishonest practices of a diamond dealer.

Despite being the main antagonist in both Now You See Me and Now You See Me 2, Arthur Tressler, played by Michael Caine, doesn’t reappear after being defeated in the second film. He initially funded the Four Horsemen, but they revealed his fraudulent activities. In the sequel, he seeks revenge with his son (Daniel Radcliffe), but is unsuccessful.

During an interview with the director of Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, Ruben Fleisher, The Hollywood Reporter asked if they had considered bringing back Michael Caine for a third film. They noted that Caine hadn’t officially retired and questioned if anyone had at least inquired about his availability. Ultimately, his character wasn’t included in the story.

Fleisher mentioned they only learned about Michael Caine’s return to acting after they finished filming. He added that if they make a sequel to ‘Now You See Me,’ they’ll certainly reach out to him. This comes after news that Caine is coming out of retirement for a sequel to ‘The Last Witch Hunter,’ where he’ll star alongside Vin Diesel again. Caine’s most recent film was ‘The Great Escaper,’ released in 2023.

Okay, so the ending of Now You See Me: Now You Don’t definitely hints at another movie. It turns out The Eye, the mysterious figure pulling the strings, still has plans for The Horsemen. Honestly, with such a big cast, they have a lot of options for a Now You See Me 4.
