Ys X: Proud Nordics is coming to PlayStation 5 on February 19, 2026 with 4K 120fps support

The game Ys X: Proud Nordics is officially coming to PlayStation 5, according to developer Falcom. They’ve announced a release date of February 19, 2026.

The upcoming game Ys X: Proud Nordics for the West is currently scheduled to release in early 2026 on Nintendo Switch 2 and PC (via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store). Although NIS America has only announced those platforms, a recent financial report from Falcom indicates the game will also be available on PlayStation 5 in Western regions. We saw the news first at Gematsu!

Just got some awesome news! Falcom officially confirmed the PS5 version is going to run at a super smooth 4K and 120fps. They also dropped a couple of new trailers showing it off – I’ve linked them below, so check them out!

So, Ys X is finally out in the West! I’ve been playing it on my PlayStation 5, but it’s also available on PS4, Switch, and Steam.
