Stars David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown, who play father and daughter Hopper and Eleven on Stranger Things, came together again at the premiere of the show’s final season on Thursday. Their reunion happened despite recent reports that Brown had accused Harbour of inappropriate behavior during filming. While neither addressed the claims directly, the show’s creators, the Duffer brothers, spoke out in support of their cast. Ross Duffer told The Hollywood Reporter that after ten years, the cast feels like family and that ensuring a safe and happy work environment is their top priority.
Millie Bobby Brown’s reported issues with the show’s producers resurfaced when the Daily Mail published a story on November 4th detailing a bullying complaint she allegedly filed against a producer before season five filming began. According to a source cited in the article, the complaint was extensive and prompted a months-long investigation. However, director Shawn Levy dismissed the reports as largely inaccurate and emphasized a respectful, family-like atmosphere on set. He stated that the crew and cast are treated with respect, which has always been a core principle of the show. Despite this, some have jokingly suggested that even within a family, problems can occur.
