The exciting trailer for Borderlands 4 has been released, right before its launch. In this trailer, we get to see the game’s latest group of Vault Hunters in action, and the footage is synchronized with the high-energy track “Birds” by Turnstile. Additionally, some recognizable characters from previous Borderlands games make an appearance amidst the cinematic mayhem.
In the newest addition to Gearbox’s looter-shooter series, players delve into the perilous world of Kairos, a planet governed by a tyrant called the Timekeeper. The four main characters in Borderlands 4 are Vex, Rafa, Amon, and Harlowe, each with distinctive abilities that are showcased in the trailer as they strive to overthrow the rule of the oppressive Timekeeper.
In the new game, although the story revolves around a fresh planet and characters, the trailer does give a nod to familiar faces from the Borderlands series such as the well-known bartender Mad Moxxi and the irritating robot Claptrap. The gameplay introduces innovative movement techniques like double jumping, gliding, dodging, and grappling with fixed points, and there’s an abundance of new weapons to discover. The upcoming Borderlands 4 will offer Shift codes, here are all the known codes and instructions on how to redeem them.
In simple terms, Borderlands 4 will be available starting September 12 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and personal computers (PC). The Nintendo Switch 2 version, however, won’t launch until October 3.
In simpler terms, our review of Borderlands 4 praises the new characters or Vault Hunters as the best so far, but mentions that the enemy designs can get repetitive and side quests lack excitement as potential drawbacks.
