Limeleaf Games, an independent game developer, announced they’re creating a roguelike RPG called Alchemia Rogue: Mia and the Mystery Labyrinth. Players can expect to play the game on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store in 2026.
The game initially seems like a standard roguelike – each time you play, the dungeons change, and you start over from the beginning when you lose. But Limeleaf Games is adding alchemy elements to make this game unique.
Alchemy Springs appear in dungeons, allowing Mia to transform items and level up her alchemy skills. This improves her results and unlocks new recipes. She can also upgrade her equipment, making these enhanced items permanent even if she loses the game.
Check out the reveal trailer, screenshots, and details for Alchemia Rogue below! The game will support Japanese, English, and Simplified Chinese languages.

Mia, an apprentice alchemist, sets out on her journey in this “Alchemy × Roguelike RPG.”
Explore a grid-based world one turn at a time, and master a complex alchemy system to combine materials and create powerful items. This adds a new strategic depth to the classic roguelike formula.
Ever-Changing Dungeons
Every time I drop into a new dungeon, it’s totally different. The whole layout changes – the ground, what things are made of, and even where the monsters are hiding. It’s always a fresh, mysterious place to explore, which is awesome!
Carefully choose each action in the grid-based, turn-based system.
If you fail, you’ll lose any items and progress you made during that attempt. Enjoy the thrill and challenge of every playthrough!
The Key to Adventure: Alchemy
Dungeons are filled with alchemical materials—herbs, mushrooms, ores, and more!
Discover an Alchemy Spring and use it to transform items. With limited resources, you’ll need to carefully decide what to create, and your alchemy skills will be crucial.
Use the powerful items you’ve transmuted to push deeper into the dungeon!
The more Mia practices alchemy, the more recipes she’ll learn and the more powerful her creations will become. With each attempt, you can expand your alchemy skills and craft even stronger items.
Enhancing Equipment through Alchemy
At the Alchemy Spring, you can also enhance your weapons and armor using materials.
Improve your weapons to deal more damage or strengthen your armor to become more resilient—customize and upgrade your gear to perfectly suit your playstyle!
Okay, so one of the coolest things about this game is that once you upgrade your gear, it’s always with you – you don’t lose it when you die, which is a huge relief! It really encourages you to get stronger bit by bit. The more I improve my stuff, the easier it becomes to push deeper into the dungeon. It’s like each upgrade unlocks the next part of the adventure!
Unique Monsters Await
Don’t let their adorable appearances fool you – these monsters are dangerous! They can poison you, steal your belongings, and even put you to sleep, all while using clever tricks to challenge you.
Observe their traits and discover the right way to counter them!
High-Difficulty Dungeons to Test Your Skill
Challenge a special dungeon where no items can be brought in.
Every new playthrough begins with no alchemy skills or upgraded equipment, ensuring a unique and challenging experience each time you play.
Use your knowledge, instincts, and a touch of luck to overcome the ultimate trial!
