I love how video games let me escape into totally different worlds and live out crazy fantasies. But it’s cool how some games also let you try things you’d never get to do in real life – that’s where simulators come in. Some games blend realism with fun, like PowerWash Simulator 2, which is just a hilarious take on the idea. And hey, cleaning is way faster with friends, right? But it’s been tough getting multiplayer to work in the newest version from FuturLab – there seem to be some serious issues. I’m hoping they’re working on a fix because playing with friends is half the fun!
Multiplayer issues in PowerWash Simulator 2
There’s a surprisingly calming quality to power washing, and PowerWash Simulator 2 builds on the satisfying gameplay of the original. The new game introduces fresh cleaning challenges and, like the first, allows for multiplayer. However, the multiplayer feature currently isn’t working properly, and players are hoping for a fix.
The developers at FuturLab are aware of issues with the multiplayer features in the game, as noted in their Steam Known Issues list. Several aspects of multiplayer aren’t working as expected.
- Players not being able to use the Soap for the second time after recalling it,
- Disconnects happening when watching credits,
- Gnomes stuck in helper’s hands,
- Furniture spawning clean while not being visible for the helper.
The developers previously acknowledged other connection problems and said they were working on fixes, but fans are still waiting for a solution.
If you’re running into these same issues, the best course of action is to hold tight until a fix is released and submit a support request through FuturLab’s official help center. Hopefully, these technical problems will be resolved quickly, allowing us all to relax and enjoy some satisfying power washing after tidying up!
