During a Twitch stream on October 25th, streamer Emiru publicly accused Mizkif, another content creator, of abusive behavior. She detailed allegations of psychological and domestic abuse, stalking, harassment, sexual assault, and threats of blackmail.
Emiru, also known as Emily Schunk, announced to her audience that she is sharing details of abuse she experienced from Mizkif, including psychological and domestic abuse, stalking, harassment, sexual assault, and threats. She also stated that some of these issues are still happening.
She explained that she’d been avoiding the topic for almost a year. She wanted to distance herself from the person involved and keep the issue private, so she hadn’t discussed it at all.
Emiru explained she felt compelled to come forward after hearing about recent alleged incidents. She said three people, including a witness, told her the person had behaved similarly to how they had treated her, this time with someone in Los Angeles in late September. Knowing this information and feeling it was important, she decided she couldn’t stay silent.

Sexual assult allegation
Emiru claims that Mizkif attempted to comfort her while she was upset on the couch, hugging her tightly. Although she generally dislikes being touched by people she’s not dating, she allowed the hug as she was crying. She says he then began kissing her face, which she also permitted while still sobbing. However, she alleges that he suddenly tried to become intimate, aggressively putting his hand down her pants, causing her to scream. According to Emiru, Mizkif immediately jumped away and, instead of offering an apology or checking on her wellbeing, stated he felt uncomfortable and left her house while she was still crying.
Back then, I was still trying to justify his actions, and I didn’t want to create any problems for the other streamers in our community.
Emiru explained that when things got heated with him, she’d often retreat to her streaming room and lock the door to escape. He would then pound on the door and yell at her.
As a longtime viewer, I was really shocked to hear that Mizkif allegedly threatened this creator, but not directly. She said he’d been going through friends and people she works with to get to her. Apparently, he told them that if she ever spoke up about anything he’d done, he’d try to ruin her reputation with a smear campaign. It’s just awful to hear something like that happening behind the scenes.
Emiru says Mizkif tried to get other streamers to participate in whatever campaign was being discussed. She claims he even asked some streamers who were close to them when they lived together to join him, but they all turned him down.
Emiru claimed that at TwitchCon, this person approached one of her employees and threatened them, saying he would ruin her if she ever spoke about him. She also said multiple people told her his plan was to falsely accuse her of animal cruelty, specifically claiming she killed her own rabbits, as several had died over the three years they lived together.
Speaking directly to Mizkif, she said she knew he was likely listening and would be surprised to learn she’d known this information for months. However, she firmly stated that any attempt to silence her – especially by bringing up her deceased pets – would not succeed.
Emiru explained she decided to speak out after getting legal advice. She consulted with a lawyer to review her statement, wanting to ensure she handled the serious matter correctly.
She ended the livestream by announcing she’s filing restraining orders against Mizkif in California and Texas.
Mizkif, a co-founder of the OTK content group, hasn’t publicly addressed the claims yet.
Emiru has criticized Twitch for not providing enough security at TwitchCon, where an attendee assaulted her, and for how the platform handled the situation afterward.
