Players of Pokémon Legends Z-A are using an unusual technique to find Shiny Pokémon while repeatedly battling for them.
Pokemon Legends Z-A has just launched, and players are already starting to hunt for Shiny Pokemon! But finding them is much easier this time around. Instead of spending hours searching, players can simply sit on benches in the Kalos region to increase their chances.
The latest method for finding Shiny Pokémon is much simpler: players just need to reset the area by either leaving and re-entering, or sitting on a bench. Once a Shiny Pokémon appears using this method, it will stay in the game and won’t disappear like regular wild Pokémon.
This has encouraged players to get crazy when spawning in Shiny Pokemon in various Wild Zones.
Pokemon Players Are Watching Shinies Pile Up
A Pokémon fan shared a video online showing gameplay in a Wild Area, where Pokémon are constantly appearing and disappearing. The area is full of rare, sparkling Shiny Pokémon just waiting to be caught.
Players are finding rare, shiny versions of Pokémon like Snover, Abomasnow, and Machop. Many are sharing their catches online, and a lot of people have already found shiny Magikarp!

Some players are calling the new game an “AFK Shiny Printer” because a video showed someone getting results after being away from the game for five hours. It seems the most popular way to get these results right now is by letting the game run while you’re doing other things – a method known as AFK grinding.
Players are noticing how much easier it is to find rare, shiny Pokémon in the current game compared to older titles like Sword and Shield. In the past, players often spent hundreds of hours trying to encounter just one shiny Pokémon. One player commented on the difference, saying they used to spend three months nightly searching for a shiny Wooloo in Sword and Shield, but now shiny Pokémon seem to be given away easily.
As a long-time Pokémon fan, I’ve noticed it’s become pretty easy to find Shiny Pokémon in the newer games. And honestly, the way you can just sit on a bench and make them appear in Pokémon Legends Z-A? It’s the simplest method I’ve ever seen! It feels almost *too* easy, but I’m not complaining!
