Atari Gamestation Go Is Still Available To Preorder At Amazon, Sold Out At Official Store

While many retro handhelds feature Atari games, My Arcade’s new Atari Gamestation Go is trying to be the best portable experience out there. This 7-inch device comes with over 200 games and offers several unique ways to play, including a paddle, trackball, and even a number pad. If you’re a retro gaming fan interested in the Gamestation Go, you should order one quickly. Preorders on Atari’s website are already sold out, but it’s still available for purchase on Amazon before its release on October 31st.

The Atari Gamestation Go and a special Pac-Man edition of the Atari 2600+ are both launching on the same day. Check out more details about the Gamestation Pro below.

My Arcade Pocket Player Pro Handhelds

I’ve been checking out the Pocket Player Pro handhelds, and they’re pretty cool! They all have a nice 2.75-inch color screen and are designed to be comfortable to hold, even with the wrist strap. They usually cost around $45, but I’ve seen some good deals on different versions lately. The Atari Pocket Player Pro is a standout – it comes with 100 games already installed and is currently selling for just $40! Plus, you can charge it with USB-C, or if you’re old school, just pop in four AA batteries.

  • Atari (100 games) — $40 ($45)
  • Galaga (2 games) — $40 ($45)
  • Ms. Pac Man — $37 ($45)
  • Mega Man (6 games) — $40 ($45)
  • Pac-Man — $29 ($45)

My Arcade Pocket Player Handhelds

The Pocket Player comes in standard and Pro versions, which can be a little confusing. The Pro models are more comfortable to hold and have better controls. However, the standard Pocket Player usually includes at least three games pre-installed. Pricing varies – for example, the standard Tetris Pocket Player costs $25, while the Pro version is $45. There’s also a vertical version of Tetris called Tetris Go Gamer, currently priced at $26 (originally $35). Most Pocket Player models, including the Pro versions, have a 2.75-inch screen. Notably, the Tetris Pocket Player (also known as the Tetris Gamer V) comes with 200 bonus games.

  • All-Star Arena (307 games) — $35
  • All-Star Stadium (307 games) — $40
  • Bubble Bobble (3 games) — $34
  • Contra (2 games) — $55.45
  • Data East (308 games) — $40
  • Don Doko Don (3 games) — $35
  • Galaga (3 games) — $40
  • Gamer V (220 games) — $25
  • Ms. Pac-Man (3 games) — $45
  • Pac-Man (3 games) — $39
  • Tetris (201 games) — $25

My Arcade Pixel Pocket Pro Handhelds

So, My Arcade just dropped their new Pixel Pocket Pro line, and I gotta say, they’re pretty cool! They’re these tiny, affordable handhelds, and the design is awesome – really blocky and retro, like straight out of an 8-bit game. They’ve got little 2-inch color screens and run on AAA batteries, which is perfect for portability. Plus, they even have keychain clips! They’re releasing a bunch of different versions. Some, like the Atari one with 25 games and Tetris, are wider, while others, like Pac-Man and Galaga, are taller – it depends on the game, I guess. I’m definitely grabbing a few of these!

  • All-Star Sports (18 games) — $30
  • Atari (25 games) — $30
  • Galaga (3 games) — $30
  • Mega Man (6 games) — $30
  • Ms. Pac-Man — $30
  • Pac-Man — $30
  • Space Invaders — $30
  • Tetris (8 games) — $30
