Falcom has just released an update for *Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter* that adds a first-person perspective and the ability to hide the on-screen interface. This update is available now worldwide for players on Steam, PlayStation 5, Switch, and Switch 2.
The upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 update will let players choose between prioritizing better graphics or smoother performance. However, it won’t introduce true 4K resolution at 30 frames per second or 1080p at 60 frames per second. I’ll share a full review and comparison with other platforms soon, after I’ve completed testing.
I just checked out the Japanese website and they posted the complete patch notes! I’ve also included some screenshots from the update down below so you can get a sneak peek.

I’ve also written about the available DLC, which you can read about here.
The first chapter of Trails in the Sky is now available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC (via Steam).
