Pokimane and LilyPichu have removed an upcoming episode of their ‘Sweet N Sour’ podcast. The episode featured Twitch streamer Hasan Piker, who is currently receiving criticism due to a reported incident with his dog.
On October 11th, the creators shared that they were cancelling their usual Saturday upload because of recent issues and controversy.
Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know that we’re going to have to postpone our Saturday video tomorrow. Things have been really messy with one of our guests lately, and honestly, it’s been pretty intense to watch. We talked it over as a team, and we all felt like putting out the video right now just wouldn’t be the right thing to do. We’ll keep you updated!
They explained the decision was made to maintain the podcast’s familiar feel, aiming to keep it relaxing and a welcome break from everyday life.

Hasan controversy explained
A video clip from streamer Hasan’s broadcast sparked controversy after viewers believed his dog, Kaya, reacted negatively to being moved because of a shock collar. The clip quickly spread online, resulting in significant criticism.
Hasan claims he never used a shock feature on the dog collar, stating it only vibrates and that Kaya’s cry wasn’t caused by it. He showed the collar working during a live stream and said people criticizing him were twisting the facts.
Following the incident, animal rights organization PETA has asked for a closer look at whether these types of collars should be allowed.
