Viewers are loving Charlie Hunnam’s performance as Ed Gein in the Netflix series, and he’ll be back for a fourth season of *Monster*, though his role will be different than before.
The third season of the Netflix series *Monster* sparked debate after its release due to its portrayal of Gein, a serial killer who heavily influenced iconic horror films such as *Psycho* and *The Texas Chainsaw Massacre*.
Viewers criticized the true crime series for portraying Ed Gein, a notorious killer who robbed graves and crafted objects from human remains, in a way that seemed to celebrate him. Actor Charlie Hunnam responded by saying the show aimed to portray Gein truthfully and without embellishment.
Despite the recent experience, the British actor is still working with Ryan Murphy and will be back for Season 4 of ‘Monster’.
