After Valorant Champions Paris, teams are already making big changes for the 2026 VCT season, and we’re starting to see some exciting player moves.
The Valorant Champions tournament in Paris concluded the 2025 VCT season, and NRG emerged as the winning team representing the Americas.
Wow, NRG was incredible! They only lost two maps getting to the grand final against Fnatic. It was a nail-biter though – they almost threw away a 2-0 lead, letting Fnatic tie it up 2-2. But NRG pulled it together and closed it out on Sunset, winning the million-dollar prize! What a match!
With the season now over, teams are already making big changes to their lineups. Evil Geniuses and Team Vitality are looking to improve after not qualifying for the Paris tournament, and T1 and MIBR are also adjusting their rosters.
Which Valorant rosters are changing for VCT 2026?
So, it sounds like a lot of teams are planning for the future by starting fresh. I’m hearing 100 Thieves is doing a complete rebuild, which is sad, and that Asuna, Zander, and their coach, Zikz, might be looking for new opportunities. Plus, Cryo is apparently checking out options outside of his current North American team, which is interesting!
Gentle Mates, a French esports organization supported by popular content creators Squeezie, Gotaga, and Brawks, will compete in the VCT EMEA league next season. They’ve been actively making changes to their teams, recently rebuilding their Call of Duty roster as well.
Good news! Gentle Mates has officially become a partner team in #VCTEMEA. They’ve signed a one-year contract that will last until the end of the 2026 season.

Leviatán has given okeanos and c0m permission to look at other opportunities. However, according to Alejandro Gomis of Sheep Esports, the organization has a preliminary agreement in place with spikeziN.
Okay, so I’m hearing some big news! Apparently, Leviatán has a deal in place with spikeziN to join their Valor Champions Tour team for the 2026 season. It’s not official yet, just a verbal agreement according to anonimotum, but that’s awesome if it goes through!

MIBR is making changes to its team lineup, even after qualifying for Paris. Sources at The Spike report that artzin, cortezia, and xenom are all exploring options with other organizations. Specifically, FURIA is reportedly interested in signing both artzin and cortezia.
Sources say FURIA is discussing a potential roster move, exploring the possibility of adding cortezia and artzin to their Valor Champions Tour (VCT) team for the 2026 season. These conversations are currently in the preliminary stages. (via @brunopovoleri)
