Babybel turns up the heat with Stranger Things ‘Hellfire’ collab

Okay, so I just heard that with Stranger Things Season 5 dropping in November, Babybel is doing a collab with Netflix! It sounds kinda wild, but I’m definitely curious to see what that looks like. A cheesy crossover, literally!

Babybel has launched a new, limited-edition snack called Babybel Hellfire Cheese Alternative, inspired by the Hellfire Club from the popular show. This is the first time Babybel has offered a spicy flavor, combining their classic creamy texture with a bold, fiery kick.

This partnership is happening before the release of Stranger Things 5, which will be available on Netflix in three parts beginning November 26th.

Babybel is launching a new spicy snack to meet the rising popularity of hot flavors. Research shows over 70% of people enjoy the taste of heat, and this new product, Hellfire Cheese Alternative, is the latest addition to Babybel’s growing range of cheeses and cheese-like snacks.

Where to find Babybel Hellfire Cheese Alternative

Starting in October 2025, you’ll be able to find the new Hellfire flavor, inspired by Stranger Things, in stores. It will first be available only at Kroger, and then expand to Albertsons and Brookshire in December. A six-pack will cost about $5.99.

Babybel is launching a new spicy cheese flavor and special Stranger Things packaging that you’ll be able to find at stores like Walmart, Target, and Kroger for a limited time.

According to Senior Brand Director Jessica Dillon, the collaboration successfully combines the popularity of ‘Stranger Things’ with the enjoyment of spicy snacks, creating a surprisingly delightful experience.

Babybel isn’t the only brand partnering with Stranger Things before the release of its final season.

In July, Chips Ahoy surprised fans with a limited-edition cookie filled with strawberry. Then, in September, Doritos introduced a special chip and dip pairing, featuring a Demogorgon-themed dip.
