Ahsoka Season 2 Star Shares BTS Photo, Gives Exciting Statement After Wrapping

Another Ahsoka Season 2 actor has announced they have finished filming their scenes.

Natasha Liu Bordizzo, who plays Sabine Wren, recently announced she’s finished filming her parts for the next season of the Star Wars series. She posted a shadowy photo from the set featuring herself and Rosario Dawson, both in their costumes as Sabine and Ahsoka Tano.

Eman Esfandi, who plays Ezra Bridger, has announced on Instagram that he’s finished filming his parts for the second season of Ahsoka.

Esfandi shared that he hoped season two would be a fantastic and ambitious experience, pushing creative boundaries. He focused on preparing himself mentally to fully commit to a story bigger than himself, which is exactly what he achieved. He expressed his gratitude and excitement for viewers to watch, wishing everyone well with a blend of blessings and a Star Wars reference, and thanking everyone in London.

Season 2 of Ahsoka will star Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hate, and Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker. Rory McCann will now play Baylan Skoll, taking over for Ray Stevenson, who sadly passed away in May 2023.

Production on Ahsoka Season 2 started in the UK in April 2025, following Lucasfilm’s renewal of the show in January 2024. Bryce Dallas Howard will direct two episodes of the eight-episode season. Dave Filoni created the series and is also its showrunner.
