Mall security guard sues Kai Cenat, Duke Dennis & AMP for over $1M after punch during stream

A security guard at a San Antonio mall is filing a lawsuit against streamer Kai Cenat, along with AMP and Duke Dennis, seeking damages of more than $1 million. He alleges he was assaulted while the group was broadcasting a popular hide-and-seek livestream.

Don White, a security officer, has sued following an event that happened at the Shops at Rivercenter mall on August 2, 2025, as reported by the San Antonio Express-News. He filed the lawsuit in state district court.

According to White, members of AMP were only allowed to film in certain parts of the mall, but they ignored these limits and kept livestreaming even after the mall was closed.

According to the lawsuit, White and other security guards asked the group to leave before the police arrived to deal with them for playing hide-and-seek on the premises.

So, during this whole thing, I apparently got punched in the mouth by one of AMP’s security guys – Lavoune Clarke, according to the lawsuit. It really hurt! I ended up needing to go to the emergency room, and now I’m trying to get them to cover my medical bills, plus some money for the pain and because I might not be able to earn as much as I used to.

AMP security member facing felony charges

The August 2025 incident quickly went viral after Duke Dennis was arrested at the mall.

According to police, officers were called to the mall around 10 PM because people were playing hide-and-seek inside after closing time and disturbing others.

I was really surprised to hear about Dennis getting charged with trespassing and evading arrest, but thankfully, the Express-News reported that those charges were dropped! Apparently, he finished a program where, instead of going to court, he completed some requirements, and that was enough to resolve everything.

Clarke is still facing serious criminal charges related to the incident, specifically two counts of assaulting a police officer and one count of assaulting a security guard.

The lawsuit targets AMP Entertainment, Duke Dennis, Kai Cenat, producer Henry Wolf, content manager Joshua Pujols, and Clarke, alleging they were involved in, oversaw, or didn’t stop the actions that caused White’s injuries.

Zachary Green, Clarke’s attorney, stated that Clarke denies any involvement in the alleged misconduct and maintains his innocence.

So, we were down in San Antonio for a whole month doing this crazy streaming event called “30 Days of Summer.” The best part? We got to stay at Tony Parker’s awesome house while we were there, and we were livestreaming stuff all over the city every single day. It was wild!
