Kai Cenat urges Streamer University hopefuls to stay home after Atlanta venues back out

Kai Cenat advised applicants for his Streamer University program to remain home after a planned in-person event in Atlanta was unexpectedly canceled.

Streamer University 2026 is holding live application events throughout the US, having already visited New York City and Los Angeles. Their Atlanta event, originally scheduled for June 16th at 1:00 PM at Georgia State Stadium, was planned as another in-person opportunity.

This year’s Streamer University will be held in person, a shift from its original format. Kai Cenat is personally inviting hopeful creators to apply and make their case for why they should be part of the incoming Class of 2026. Applications are now being accepted, according to the official website.

Kai Cenat says Atlanta Streamer University venue backed out

Kai Cenat’s team announced on Instagram that they still intend to hold the in-person portion of Streamer University in Atlanta, but there might be delays to the original timeline.

Okay, so here’s what happened – apparently, everyone got so excited about this event that the places we were talking to started worrying they wouldn’t be able to handle all of us! They pulled out pretty late in the game because of space and just making sure everything would run smoothly.

The message noted there’s a small possibility the event might still occur on June 16th, but advised everyone to stay home and await further information regarding a new location and potential date change.

We are still finalizing the location in Atlanta and will announce the details as soon as everything is confirmed.

The event was postponed following reports from New York City showing large crowds forming outside the location. Some people even camped out overnight hoping to attend Streamer University. There were also reports of a fight breaking out near the waiting line, which prompted a police response.

Following the event in New York City, a video appeared on X showing a messy scene outside the building – trash and debris were scattered around. This led some people to wonder if the problems at the Atlanta venue weren’t just about how many people could fit inside, but also about managing the crowds and cleaning up after previous events.

Kai said venues canceled due to space and logistical issues. As of now, a final location and date for the Atlanta event haven’t been set.
