
A-1 Pictures has created many well-known anime series, including the incredibly popular [title of anime]. Sadly, for those who enjoy the studio’s work and the light novel connected to Type-Moon, one of their anime will soon be removed from the largest streaming platform.
The anime version of Fate/Apocrypha, created by A-1 Pictures and first released in 2017, is nearing its 10-year anniversary. Unfortunately, it’s one of a number of shows that will soon be removed from the platform next month. Thankfully, fans still have some time to watch the complete series, but it’s a disappointing situation considering Netflix’s increasing strength in anime offerings.
Type-Moon’s Fate/Apocrypha Anime Set to Leave Netflix Next Month
We now know which films, TV series, and anime will be removed from Netflix throughout November – at the start, in the middle, and at the end of the month. The majority of titles being taken off are Western live-action movies and shows, and there aren’t many anime currently scheduled to leave. However, Fate/Apocrypha is a notable exception, as it comes from the studio that also created the anime version of . First broadcast in 2017, it’s actually adapted from light novels of the same name. These novels are part of the larger Fate universe created by Type-Moon, a franchise with many video games, manga, light novels, and anime installments.
Fate/Apocrypha consists of 25 episodes, divided into two parts on Netflix. However, these episodes will be removed from Netflix on November 7, 2025, and currently, there are no other legal streaming options available in the U.S. (as of this writing). Another anime, Fate/Extra Last Encore, is also available on Netflix and doesn’t appear to be leaving anytime soon. On a different note, A-1 Pictures’ most popular series, Solo Leveling, can only be streamed on Crunchyroll and isn’t accessible on Netflix in the U.S. That said, Netflix is currently producing a live-action Solo Leveling series.
