This week, the movie Ordinary Angels has become a streaming hit in the US, reaching the Top 10 on Peacock, according to FlixPatrol. Currently ranked at number 8, it’s gaining popularity and moved ahead of Brendan Fraser’s The Mummy. Just above Ordinary Angels at number 7 is the disaster film The Day After Tomorrow.

Lionsgate’s Ordinary Angels earned $20.5 million in theaters, exceeding its $12 million production budget. Critics generally liked the film, giving it an 84% ‘Fresh’ rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Audiences overwhelmingly loved it too, with a remarkable 99% approval score. Many viewers felt the movie was a hidden gem and deserved to be a bigger box office success.

The show’s popularity on streaming services has increased following the news that a fifth season of Ritchson’s Reacher is in the works. This announcement came before Season 4 premiered on Prime Video this year. Ritchson also has a new action comedy movie coming soon, where he’ll be working alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, who will play Santa Claus.
