DoorDash responds after customer uses AI to make food look bad and get a refund

Okay, so I just heard about this TikTok creator who basically tricked DoorDash into giving her a refund using ChatGPT! Apparently, she used the AI to write a complaint or something, and it actually worked. It’s wild, and DoorDash even responded to her TikTok about it – it’s all over social media right now!

Even though many food delivery apps are available, ordering from them can still be risky. You could receive the wrong order, or your delivery might not arrive at all. There have even been instances of special orders, like Mother’s Day balloons, getting lost in transit.

It can also be difficult to get your money back if something you ordered is lost or incorrect. Some apps make you provide evidence, and even then, you might not receive a full refund, regardless of the situation.

A TikTok creator named mi5under5t00d is facing backlash online after admitting she used ChatGPT to help her get a refund from DoorDash.

TikToker claims ChatGPT got her a refund from DoorDash

I couldn’t believe it when I saw this TikTok! This creator shared how ChatGPT actually helped her get a refund after she received some seriously bad chicken. The video’s gone viral with over 4.2 million views, which just shows how amazing – and useful – this AI can be!

She expressed her frustration in a caption, saying, “Seriously, what were they thinking leaving out my carrots and ranch after I specifically paid extra for them? And they had the nerve to send cold chicken!”

Mi5under5t00d also discovered she had nearly $40 in her DoorDash account after the refund was processed.

Okay, so this video went totally viral on TikTok! It was so popular that DoorDash actually responded to it in the comments. They even playfully said, “Oop, should’ve blocked us!” – it was hilarious!

Other people commented that they’d done the same thing with previous orders and advised her to remove the video. One user said they’d done it so often they were no longer eligible for refunds. Another commented that many people had done this before.

Many people also found it strange, pointing out that it could cause job losses. One person commented, “This can get people fired, by the way.”

People are upset that someone would risk another person’s job over a small order. One commenter pointed out that someone’s livelihood depends on these delivery services, and it’s selfish to jeopardize that over something like ranch dressing and carrots. Others expressed disbelief that a disagreement over such a minor item could lead to someone losing their job.
