It’s just a reminder that what we see on TV isn’t always the full story, I guess.
As a big fan of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, I was really sad to see a post suggesting that Tigerlily and Adnan Abdelfattah might be over. It seems like they’ve broken up! Here’s everything I’ve gathered about what’s happening, and honestly, it doesn’t look good for seeing them as a couple on future seasons of the show. It’s a shame, but it seems like their journey is coming to an end.
Adnan And Tigerlily Have Reportedly Split
In a shocking post shared on her Instagram page, Tigerlily seemed to imply that she and Adnan are no longer together. Accompanied by a picture from her wedding with a tear going through it, she wrote the following caption:
It’s been two years since I stood here, wearing this dress and believing our love would last forever. But some things don’t last as long as we hope. Love isn’t always enough. For a relationship to endure, it needs togetherness, security, and trust. Now, I’m moving forward with a sense of calm, my children, and a wonderful new surprise I’ve been keeping to myself. Peace is what I feel.
That’s a surprising announcement, particularly since they recently shared pictures that looked like a happy family vacation with their kids. Adnan and Tigerlily both indicate they are married on their social media profiles, but he hasn’t posted anything on Instagram since she announced they were separating.
90 Day Fiancé viewers likely aren’t shocked by this, given the significant age difference and cultural clashes between Tigerlily and Adnan. It was apparent she struggled to adapt to traditional Middle Eastern expectations, and sometimes treated Adnan more like a son than a husband.
Does This Mean Divorce? Or Is This Just A Quarrel?
Although Tigerlily seems very certain, I’ve followed 90 Day Fiancé for a while now, and I’m hesitant to believe her completely. I remember when their season of Happily Ever After? aired, I predicted that Adnan and Tigerlily’s story would lead to them being on a new season of 90 Day: The Last Resort, which is a show for couples facing difficulties.
On 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Luke and Madeleine are currently clashing about finances. However, I believe their problems go much deeper than just money. It seems like there’s a bigger issue at play between them, and the money disagreements are just a symptom of something else. It’s not simply about the cash, but something more fundamental in their relationship.
Considering how quickly the post went up, I’m left wondering if it was intentionally timed to promote their upcoming appearance on the spinoff, or if they’re genuinely thinking about getting a divorce. Maybe the reality is a bit of both? It’s not uncommon for people in the 90 Day franchise to stage things for the cameras. And this wouldn’t be the first time producers have used a couple’s split for the show.
As a longtime viewer, I’m really starting to worry about Adnan and his family. If this is a serious breakup, I keep asking myself: will he stay here in the US with his child, or will he go back to Jordan? I’m hoping they can work things out and come out of this even stronger, honestly.
