As someone who loved the first Red Dead Redemption, going to Mexico was a huge part of what made it special for me. So, when I was playing the prequel, I was really hoping that area would make a return. Honestly, it was a letdown when it didn’t.
I’m already completely hooked on Red Dead Redemption 2 – it’s an amazing game, even without Mexico. But honestly, it always felt like something was missing. Since Rockstar isn’t planning any expansions, the modding community stepped up and decided to add Mexico to the game themselves, which is awesome!

This mod also makes Sadie Adler the main character, which fits well with the game’s story and what we know about the characters’ pasts. The trailer has been incredibly well-received, and fans are very excited about it.
Someone commented that Rixus created a downloadable content pack with side missions, and they believe it’s something Rockstar Games hasn’t been able to achieve.

Seriously, the music is incredible! I remember playing the first game and getting chills when I crossed the border into Mexico – that song just hit different. It’s one of my all-time favorite moments.
