The new Where All Souls Return (2.5) season has arrived in Infinity Nikki, bringing a lot of fun and fashionable content, plus a particularly moving story. With so much happening in and around Itzaland as the game world expands, it’s easy to miss some of the smaller, more relaxing features, like the Folklore box games.

The game features a hidden activity called the Expedition Handbook, found within the Photo Mode. It challenges you to discover beautiful locations throughout each area, take pictures, and receive rewards. Here’s a guide to finding all the Boneyard Expedition Handbook locations in Infinity Nikki.

What is the Expedition Handbook in Infinity Nikki?

In Infinity Nikki, the Expedition Handbook is a special feature where you take pictures at different spots throughout the game’s world, Miraland. You can find it by tapping the booklet icon when you’re in Photo Mode. It’s divided into sections for each main area of the game – like Wishfield and Itzaland – and each area has a list of locations for you to photograph.

Completing each photo spot will give you 3 Upgrade Packs. You can trade these packs with characters like Leila in Florawish to unlock new poses and other features. You can also use them to improve your camera’s Lighting, Pose, and Filter settings in the Camera Modifications menu.

To submit a photo from a qualifying location, tap the ‘Upload’ button in the top-right corner of the Photo Mode menu immediately after taking the picture, but before exiting the menu. This will save the photo to your Handbook and confirm that you’ve completed the task.

In Infinity Nikki, you’ll find 8 Expedition Handbook spots hidden throughout the Boneyard area of Itzaland. Here’s a complete guide to each location, showing you exactly where to go and how to strike the perfect pose for each photo.

Expedition Handbook Location 27 – Great Lumieville

You can find this Expedition Handbook in Great Lumieville, on the south side of the main open area. When you’re looking for it, position yourself with the large white tree visible behind you.

Expedition Handbook Location 28 – Hall of Return (Great Lumieville)

You can find this Expedition Handbook location in Great Lumieville, but it’s inside the Hall of Return. This area is instanced and located on the first floor, on the north side. Once you’re inside, go to the center of the room and stand on the platform in front of the swinging pendulum.

Expedition Handbook Location 29 – Soul Washing Pool (Great Lumieville)

This Expedition Handbook location is in Great Lumieville. Head to the center of the open atrium on the first floor, then take the spiral stairs up to the Soul Washing Pool. Pose on the edge of the pool to complete the task.

Expedition Handbook Location 30 – Healing Ground

You can find this Expedition Handbook location east of Great Lumieville, at the Healing Ground. Go to the west side of the area and find the Meditation spot. Then, stand near it and aim your camera towards the center of the Healing Ground.

Expedition Handbook Location 31 – The Soul Observatory

Okay, so I finally found one of those Expedition Handbook locations! It’s down at the Soul Observatory, on the southwest side of the map. You just need to head there and pose for a picture right at the top of the waterfall, in front of the observatory building itself. Pretty easy once you know where to look!

Expedition Handbook Location 32 – Dragon’s Lair Peak

You can find this Expedition Handbook location on the eastern side of the area, on the cliffs after you pass the Cultivarium and before reaching Hollowbreath Passage. For the photo, stand facing the Dragon’s Lair peak far to the north while the eclipse is visible. Be sure to capture the entire scene. If you’re struggling to trigger the prompt in Photo Mode, try climbing onto one of the nearby rock ledges.

Expedition Handbook Location 33 – Memorial Site

You can find this Expedition Handbook location just north of Great Lumieville, at the Memorial Site. Simply follow the main path up to the area and take a picture posing in front of the stone memorial that looks like Stonehenge.

Handbook Location 34 – Blue Pools

You can find this Expedition Handbook in the Blue Pools area, just south of Great Lumieville. Stay on the main path as you head south, and keep going until you reach a ledge with a view of the pools and the beach.
