Netflix has confirmed that the show will be back for a fourth season! After three popular seasons, production is now underway.

Netflix has announced that The Night Agent will conclude with its upcoming fourth season. Creator and showrunner Shawn Ryan (known for The Shield and S.W.A.T.) shared the news with Tudum, adding that the final season will give Peter Sutherland’s character a satisfying conclusion.

The Night Agent Season 4 Will Give Peter a Proper Ending

Ryan said he’s been determined to give the show and Peter Sutherland’s story a satisfying and exciting ending ever since The Night Agent first became popular.

What to Expect From The Night Agent Season 4?

In 2023, ‘The Night Agent’ introduced viewers to Peter Sutherland, a Night Agent who stumbled upon a huge government conspiracy after answering a mysterious call. Season 2 began months after the Camp David attack, with Peter working undercover in Thailand to investigate a major intelligence leak.

Season 3 of The Night Agent sends Peter Sutherland on a new international case: a young Treasury Agent has run to Istanbul with top-secret information after a murder. This sets off a dangerous investigation into a shadowy financial network, forcing Peter to evade deadly assassins. He teams up with a determined journalist, and together they expose long-hidden secrets and old resentments that could destroy the government – and cost them their lives.

We don’t have many details about Season 4 yet, but Ryan has hinted that the events at the end of Season 3 will be important for what happens next. We do know that the final season will introduce several new characters.

Season 4 of The Night Agent will feature Duval, along with Li Jun Li (known for Sinners and Babylon) as Min, Trevante Rhodes (Moonlight, Birdbox) as Dom, and Elizabeth Lail (Five Nights at Freddy’s, You) as Zoe.

Since its release in 2023, the show quickly became popular. The first season reached the Top 10 most-viewed English-language TV shows on Netflix, racking up 98.2 million views within its first 91 days. It remained in the Top 10 until earlier this year. The third season launched earlier in 2024 and garnered 9.9 million views in its second week.

The Night Agent Season 4 doesn’t have a release date.
