Team17 and Beehive Studios have revealed that their creature-collecting RPG, LumenTale: Memories of Trey, will be released on May 26th for both Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
LumenTale began life as a Kickstarter campaign in early 2023, raising €160,948 for the project.

Team17 and Beehive Studios are excited to announce that Lumentale: Memories of Trey will be released on Steam and Nintendo Switch on May 26th, 2026! This new monster-collecting game lets you explore the Italy-inspired region of Talea, capture over 100 unique Animon, build a team, and cook delicious meals. It’s a story-rich adventure from the creators of Xenoverse: Per Aspera Ad Astra.
Okay, so you start by picking your first Animon – kind of like choosing your starter Pokémon! Then you explore, find new Animon you really like, and collect cards of all of them. I’m really excited about the story mode, but after that, the best part will be battling my friends to see who has the strongest team!
LumenTale: Memories of Trey puts you in the shoes of Trey, a hero who wakes up with amnesia. He embarks on a quest across the enchanting world of Talea to discover what happened to his past.
Embark on a captivating journey filled with exploration, creature collecting, and a compelling story! Players will discover a beautiful and varied world, meet interesting characters, and collect over 140 unique Animon to train. Plus, you can battle other players and trade cards online!

Build strong relationships, assemble a powerful team, and discover the secrets of Trey’s past. Your choices will determine the outcome of the story.
