Season 3 of Euphoria has returned, and here’s how and when to catch the latest episode, number 4.

The new season of Euphoria kicked off with a dramatic first episode centered on Rue. It showed her smuggling drugs across the border for Laurie and experiencing what felt like a spiritual awakening.

The episode included tributes to members of the Euphoria cast and crew who passed away between seasons one and two, notably Angus Cloud, even though his character, Fez, remained in the show. Meanwhile, the storyline followed Rue as she faced increasing difficulties and grew closer to Jules.

What happens in Episode 4?

Episode 4 reveals what Jules has been doing, while Rue finds herself caught in a dangerous drug conflict. Meanwhile, Cassie and Nate go through with a wedding, but their wedding night doesn’t go as planned.

Okay, so the episode starts by giving us some insight into Jules’ past. Apparently, she was an art student, but to help with money, she became a ‘Sugar Baby.’ She dated some pretty successful guys – a lawyer, a Hollywood producer, and someone in finance. It really explains a lot about her, honestly!

She only begins to feel happy when she starts seeing a wealthy plastic surgeon with a family, who becomes obsessed with preserving her appearance, even going so far as to wrap her in cellophane, believing it will make her eternally beautiful.

Throughout the episode, Rue gets caught in the middle of a growing feud between Alamo and Laurie. It begins when Alamo kills a pig, and escalates to Laurie’s cherished parrot being poisoned.

I remember this scene – it was so touching! Rue actually went to visit Fez while he was in jail. She told him she really cared about him, calling him ‘her boy,’ and even promised she’d be there to pick him up if he ever managed to break out. It was a sweet moment, showing how much she looked out for him.

Most of the episode focuses on Nate and Cassie’s wedding, which is lovely, especially considering they didn’t have much money for it – particularly the flowers.

Nate’s financial troubles come to light when Naseem unexpectedly appears at the wedding, demanding repayment of a debt and threatening to make Nate’s life miserable.

Cassie overhears the couple arguing as they begin their first dance. The argument escalates, and she throws a cork that hits him in the eye, making Nate furious.

The situation escalates dramatically when he brings her home, as Naseem is waiting and brutally attacks Nate, leaving him severely beaten and covered in blood that splatters across their carpet and walls.

Naseem and Cassie share a surprisingly funny connection, but the moment is quickly interrupted when Nate suffers a gruesome injury – his toe is severed as a form of payback.

The episode concludes with Rue being taken into custody by the DEA, and simultaneously, Laurie’s parrot unexpectedly dies and falls from its stand.
