The latest update for Star Wars: The Old Republic, called “Legacy Reborn” (Update 7.9), was revealed in a livestream. It includes the conclusion to the Legacy of Sith story arc, the start of PvP Season 10, new content on Nar Shaddaa, and fresh items available in the Cartel Market.
The popular game Star Wars: The Old Republic is now playable on computers. Update 7.9, called “Legacy Reborn,” has just been released – you can check out a livestream and new screenshots detailing the changes below.

Between now and May 14th, if you watch any live stream of Star Wars: The Old Republic on Twitch for one hour, you’ll get a Dantooine (Crash Site) Poster Decoration for your game. Once the 7.9 update is released, watching four hours of live content on Twitch will reward you with the Nightshade Hssiss Mount.
In the Legacy Reborn storyline, Darth Jadus has taken Darth Nul’s holocron and is traveling to Khar Shian. This is where the epic conclusion of the Legacy of the Sith will take place, involving characters like Heta Kol, the Hidden Chain, Malgus, and Shae Vizla. The final battle on Khar Shian will let players experience the story’s climax through the eyes of different characters, offering a fresh perspective.
The Cartel Market is getting new items themed around Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu. Plus, a special bundle called Master the Fight: Cargo Transport will be available for a limited time.
With the 7.9 update, we’re making some changes to companions and a starting mission. The companion terminal will no longer work, and companions who aren’t currently part of the story will be moved to a new section called “Ineligible for Story.” We’re also improving the beginning of the Dantooine Dynamic Encounter mission based on player feedback, making it easier to get started by separating the Orbital Core encounter from the main storyline.
The tenth season of player-versus-player (PvP), titled “Honor in Battle,” begins with patch 7.9 and will last for 16 weeks. Players can earn new armor, decorations, titles, profile customizations, trophy displays, flags, and achievements during the season.
The Nar Shaddaa Nightlife event is back on June 30th and will last for six weeks. When it starts, players can earn two new, special decorations with a nighttime theme.
Galactic Season 11: Light and Shadow is arriving with the Game Update 7.9.1! Get ready for popular rewards to return, plus the chance to reunite with companions Fen Zeil and Amity. There will also be sales on gifts and lots of new ways to customize your character, including new outfits, a mount, a title, and legacy rewards.
