eFootball is now venturing into anime with a collaboration featuring Naruto Shippuden, where Neymar is on a quest to become Hokage. Following their unusual but successful Yu-Gi-Oh! partnership – which transformed Neymar into the Dark Magician – Konami is now exploring the world of ninjas.
This update includes Naruto-inspired character customizations, special stadium designs, and unique events designed to thrill fans of the series.
The game features a unique collaboration, combining real football players with characters from Naruto. Players can enjoy special themed matches and earn exclusive rewards. Highlights include a Naruto-themed card for Neymar and visually stunning stadiums decorated with iconic Naruto imagery like Kurama and Susano’o, making this one of the game’s most creative partnerships so far.
Naruto takes the football world by ninja storm
Okay, so I just heard about this cool Naruto and eFootball crossover! It’s happening from April 30th to May 14th, 2026, and apparently, we can unlock a bunch of Naruto-themed stuff in the game. If I log in during those dates, I’ll get up to 220 eFootball Coins, plus even more rewards just by playing matches and completing objectives. Sounds awesome, I’m definitely checking it out!
A major attraction is the new collection of “Highlight” players, now based on characters from Naruto Shippuden. Neymar Jr. plays as Naruto Uzumaki, and Takefusa Kubo takes on the role of Sasuke Uchiha.

The team also features Martin Odegaard as Shikamaru Nara, Robert Lewandowski as Kakashi Hatake, and Luka Modric designed to resemble Itachi Uchiha.
The collaboration continues with a new collection based on the Akatsuki characters. Footballers Rafael Leao, Christian Pulisic, and Alexis Saelemaekers will each have special designs inspired by Deidara, Tobi, and Pain, respectively.
Get ready for a cool team-up! NARUTO Shippuden and eFootball™ are joining forces! A special trailer is out now, featuring players like Neymar, and you can look forward to goal celebrations with your favorite NARUTO characters. #eFootball

The game will also feature versus battles against AI opponents with a Naruto and Sasuke theme, letting players see how well these ninja characters perform in a soccer match and if they have what it takes to compete.
In addition to winning rewards, players can earn huge in-game items like Kurama and Susano’o. They’ll also unlock special Naruto-inspired dances and visual effects that appear when a goal is scored.
The recent partnership between Naruto and the eFootball video game was unexpected, but it’s not the strangest anime collaboration of the year. That title goes to Hatsune Miku, who now has a line of fishing gear, including a glow-in-the-dark rod and reel. Another popular anime, My Dress-Up Darling, also joined the world of motorsports with a Marin Kitagawa-themed GT3 race car.
