Asmongold reveals “reverse” subathon plans and fans think it will bankrupt his haters

Popular Twitch streamer Asmongold is planning his own unique take on a subathon, and his audience believes it might financially ruin those who frequently criticize him.

Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 3 reached an incredible milestone, making him the first streamer ever to gain 1 million subscribers. This significantly surpassed his own previous world record.

Although surpassing Cenat’s record might not happen in the usual way, Asmongold has come up with a plan to use his critics to his advantage with what he’s calling a “reverse” subathon.

This concept might be his most profitable one so far, and surprisingly, it doesn’t require him to create any content. Actually, it works in the opposite direction. It’s a unique approach.

Asmongold’s reverse subathon dubbed an “infinite money glitch”

After a popular social media post questioned his choice to start streaming again after his father’s passing, Asmongold explained his reasoning.

The creator shared that they’ve been thinking about a unique stream idea – a “reverse subathon.” In this concept, they would be offline, and viewers could subscribe to extend the duration of their time away from streaming, essentially paying to keep them offline for even longer.

I’ve been thinking about trying a reverse subathon. Basically, I’d go offline, and people could subscribe to extend how long I *stay* offline. It’s like the opposite of a regular subathon!

Fans were instantly drawn to the idea, believing it would “bankrupt” his haters.

“People that hate you would pay you to stay offline. F**king genius,” a fan replied.

“Infinite money glitch unlocked,” someone else chimed in.

shoe0nhead has that as a patron option.

Someone else noted that the YouTuber ‘shoe0nhead’ offers a Patreon tier called “buy my silence.” For $50,000, subscribers can pay her to not post content for an entire month – essentially paying her to “shut the fk up,” as it’s phrased.

Whether Asmongold actually follows through with this interesting concept is still unknown, and it’s unclear how much revenue it could generate. However, it has the potential to be very successful, given that his opinions often spark strong reactions – both positive and negative.
