Deadline Savior launches for PC via Steam Early Access this Autumn

Cointinue Games is launching Deadline Savior on PC through Steam this fall. Players can also try out a demo during the June 2026 Steam Next Fest.

This game combines an idle RPG with a productivity boost! It features automatic gameplay, but also includes a Pomodoro Timer. You set a real-life task, and while you’re working on it (by pressing a ‘Focus’ button), your hero continues to progress in the game on their own.

It’s going to be available in a ton of languages – English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (both European and Latin American), Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, and both Traditional and Simplified Chinese! Cointinue Games, the creators of the one-of-a-kind ‘Deadline Savior’ – a role-playing game inspired by the Pomodoro Technique – will be showcasing their game at the Steam Next Fest in June!

The Demo is getting a big update at the festival, moving from version 0.1 to 0.2. Players will be able to try out a new character class called the “Wizard,” and the update also includes several helpful improvements and new things to do in the game.

This unique game combines the Pomodoro Technique—a time management method—with turn-based battles. Your ability to focus becomes your strongest attack as you journey to overcome challenges in the Deadline Continent!

A Sneak Peek at the Demo Content

The demo includes:

  • One expansive exploration map with four unique biomes and epic boss battles.

  • Approximately 30 to 40 hours of idle/playtime per run.

  • Basic skill tree, equipment system, and character growth

  • Original fantasy-style BGM designed to enhance concentration.

  • A fully functional core Pomodoro system.

Key New Features in Version 0.2:

  • Players can now choose the Wizard as a starting class, alongside the Paladin and Ranger. With this new class come magical items that have a chance to drop during gameplay.

  • The General Store and Tavern are now open! You can buy helpful items like potions and cooked food there.

  • Town Portal Scrolls let players instantly return to town whenever they need to buy more items or sell what they’ve found.

  • Focus Reward System: Time spent working is directly rewarded with in-game items.

  • Our game analyzes how you play to figure out your work style and then matches you with a fantasy class that fits!

Demo Ver.0.2 will be available for free on Steam around early June.

Just a heads up: because we’ve made big changes to how the game is built, your saved games from version 0.1 won’t work with version 0.2.

Launching into Early Access this Autumn!

Great news! Deadline Savior will be released this fall. The timing is perfect for students heading back to school, as it’s a new, game-like tool designed to help them stay organized and productive with their studies.
