Square Enix has revealed two new jobs coming to Final Fantasy 14 with the next expansion, Evercold. Announced at the start of Fan Fest 2026, Evercold is set to release in early 2027 and will send players to the Fourth for a brand-new story.
At the Fan Fest 2026 event in Anaheim, Final Fantasy XIV game director Yoshi-P announced that two new playable jobs will be added with the January 2027 release of the Evercold expansion. The announcement was made during a livestream on the official Final Fantasy XIV YouTube channel. While many details about Evercold were shared, the brief glimpses of the new jobs generated the most excitement, though specific information about them remains limited.
