The Japanese Vtuber agency Rimiresu! has ended its contracts with two of its streamers after discovering they were dating. The agency has a rule against relationships between its talent.
On April 20, 2026, the agency revealed it had terminated its contracts with Kanade Ruka and BakuBaku, both performers who worked with the Rimiresu! group.
Rimiresu! announced that two of its streamers broke company policy by engaging in a romantic relationship, which is prohibited for those signed to the agency. After confirming the relationship with both individuals, the company decided to end their contracts and remove them from the agency, effective April 20th.

VTuber agency says streamers broke no-dating rule
Rimiresu! issued an apology to their fans and fellow streamers, explaining that the behavior of Kanade Ruka and BakuBaku had created worry and broken people’s trust.
The agency announced that both performers’ work would stop right away. Their names and online accounts will be suspended or deleted as part of ending their contracts.
Kanade Ruka explained in a later post, translated from X, that the issue was entirely her own fault and she takes full responsibility. She emphasized that Rimiresu had no involvement or blame in the situation.
So, Kanade mentioned the agency was super helpful and polite during everything. But apparently, the company has a rule against dating coworkers – basically, no romantic relationships are allowed between people who work at the agency.
Let me just clarify one thing. This entire situation is my responsibility, and I take full accountability. rimilesu! bears no fault whatsoever. In fact, I’m incredibly grateful for their support throughout the process, including their diligent handling of the other party. I am deeply thankful to the firm.

In a final message to fans, Kanade expressed gratitude for their support and apologized for any worry caused by recent events.
The news of the contract termination quickly spread online among fans of VTubers, mainly because the agency publicly stated that a romantic relationship was the reason for the decision.
Rimiresu! is a Japanese agency representing virtual livers (VTubers) associated with the IRIAM streaming platform. After a recent announcement, the agency has requested that fans refrain from harassing or spreading false information about its talents.
