TikToker under fire for filming & mocking dead body after fatal accident outside fancy restaurant

A TikTok influencer is receiving criticism for a video she posted. The video seems to show a deceased person at a car crash site while she was filming herself enjoying an anniversary dinner nearby.

TikTok influencer Sarah Stusek, with over 323,000 followers, posted a video (which has since been removed) showing her and her husband at Oak Steakhouse in Alexandria, Virginia, while police investigated a deadly incident nearby.

The video shows a body covered by a white blanket in the street, marked off with yellow caution tape. Stusek makes light of the scene throughout the video.

Influencer criticized for filming crash scene during dinner

I wasn’t intending to record our anniversary dinner, but then we found a dead body outside, and I realized it wasn’t going to be a typical night,” Stusek explained in the video.

She kept filming all evening, capturing footage of food like oysters, even as police lights were visible in the background.

She said they had a good night, mentioning they were dancing under red and blue flashing lights. The video ended with the couple embracing as police officers were still present.
