Kaiju No. 8 The Game is now available on Steam alongside a new story chapter and characters

Akatsuki Games has revealed that its role-playing game inspired by Kaiju No. 8, titled Kaiju No. 8 The Game, is now playable on PC through Steam, shortly after launching on mobile devices.

To mark the release of the game on Steam, Akatsuki Games has added a new story chapter and two new characters. If you’re just discovering Kaiju No. 8 The Game, it’s a free-to-play, turn-based RPG inspired by the popular manga and anime. The game offers three distinct story modes: Main Story, Memories, and Character Stories, all featuring turn-based combat.

You can now play Kaiju No. 8 The Game on Android via Google Play here, on iOS via the App Store here, and on PC (Steam).

So, a weird dimensional gate just popped up in London, and my team – that’s Kafka, Kikoru, and Sagan – got sent in to check it out. It’s kinda like, business as usual for us, honestly. We’re the go-to crew when things get… dimensional.

There, the team unites with CLOZER member Chester Lochburn to stop the heavily armored Kaiju that’s destroying the city. As they look for a weakness in the enemy’s seemingly unbreakable armor, Kikoru receives a new weapon imbued with the spirit of her father, Isao Shinomiya. Empowered by this, she fearlessly enters the most important fight of all───.

I’m a huge fan of CLOZER, and this member especially stands out to me. He’s incredibly calm and collected, and it turns out he used to be a captain in the British defense force, leading a special unit! Seriously impressive. He’s not just a strategist, though – he can really unleash some serious combat power, and he’s skilled with all kinds of weapons. What I really admire is how he can quickly figure out the most effective tactics for any situation. He’s a total pro.
