JD GAMING, a League of Legends team, recently introduced Duobao, their new team puppy! The adorable pup is less than six months old and has quickly become a source of happiness for the whole team.
Lately, I’ve noticed esports teams are really starting to act like traditional sports teams – it’s kinda cool! Some are even building their own arenas, and they’ve got mascots now. The best part is seeing dedicated fans travel all over the world to support their favorite players and teams – it creates an awesome atmosphere!
This happens most often in Europe, where popular teams like Paris Gentlemates (Call of Duty) and Team Vitality (Counter-Strike) have built dedicated fan bases who travel to various competitions to support them.
JD Gaming, a team in the League of Legends Pro League (LPL), has started a new trend by officially adopting a team pet to boost player morale during practice.

The League of Legends team officially welcomed their new member, a puppy named Duobao, on April 21st, giving him a special introduction like a new player joining the team.
We’re thrilled to welcome Duobao, a 100-day-old puppy, as our team’s official pet! She’s quickly become the most popular member of our training base, and after a fun signing ceremony with lots of treats, she’s ready to spread happiness throughout the team. We announced this on X.

JD Gaming posted some adorable pictures of their new puppy, who spent the day mostly sleeping and curiously exploring everything around them.
The video also showed a quick glimpse of him interacting with his teammates, casually walking around the office and showing off, and another clip of him playing with Chen ‘GALA’ Wei.

The League of Legends team plans to add more Duobao content in the future, as fans are eagerly requesting it.
Someone asked if we’d be getting Duobao merchandise, and honestly, another player said this could be the biggest news of the year! It’s getting everyone hyped.
You won’t believe this – they just added a Pomeranian to the police force in Japan! It’s seriously adorable, and it just goes to show you, you don’t need to be big to be a hero. I saw the pictures and it’s the cutest thing ever – a little fluffball helping out with law enforcement. It really makes you smile!
