Wild Wits and Curve Games have launched a longer demo version of their story-focused RPG, Sovereign Tower, before it officially comes out in August.
Wild Wits revealed a new character, Hildegard Von Blingin’, who will be playable in the game. A demo with 2-3 hours of gameplay is now available on Steam, and you can download it to try it out. The complete game is scheduled to release in August 2026.

WILD WITS, a studio based in Rennes, and Curve Games have announced that Hildegard Von Blingin’, a popular character known as the ‘Bardcore legend,’ will be joining the cast of their story-rich RPG, Sovereign Tower. A new trailer showcases the game, and features a special song called “There Stands the Tower” written specifically for Sovereign Tower. The game is scheduled to release on PC in August 2026.
After a popular initial release on itch.io, a longer version of the Sovereign Tower demo is now available on Steam. Players can try out the game and experience ruling as a monarch – making decisions (hopefully fair ones!) for their people. This new Steam demo includes about 2-3 hours of gameplay, with new characters, stories, and a unique ‘Demon’ feature that lets you rewind time.
Gobert, Creative and Art Director at Wild Wits, expressed their excitement about a new collaboration, saying they are huge fans of Hildegard’s work. They believe the song created for Sovereign Tower is a perfect fit, and The Bard is a great addition to the game’s characters. They encourage players to try out the extended Steam demo and appreciate the ability to correct any errors they might make.
Hildegard Von Blingin’, a popular bardcore artist, expressed her excitement about contributing to Sovereign Tower. She said it was a privilege to both write a song for the game and become a playable character within it, especially as a bard! She praised the team behind Sovereign Tower for their dedication and passion, and shared how happy she was to be involved in the project.
G4F Records, known for their work on the Hildegard von Blingin’ Sovereign Tower soundtrack, will be releasing the full game soundtrack on all major music streaming services.
