As a huge sci-fi fan, I’m so excited that one of the best thrillers on streaming is back this weekend! If you haven’t seen it yet, seriously, you’re missing out – a lot of people call it the best show on TV, and it’s the perfect time to start watching. There’s tons of great stuff out there, but this one really grabbed me with its creepy story, well-developed characters, and how it mixes mystery, sci-fi, and a little bit of horror. It’s a fantastic blend!

The story begins with the Matthews family driving across the country in their RV. Their normal road trip quickly turns terrifying when they become stuck repeating the same journey through an unnamed, mysterious town, eventually leading to an accident that traps them there.
The series From truly begins to shine as it draws you into a strange and unsettling world of nighttime beings and closely guarded secrets. It’s a slow burn, not for viewers who need instant gratification. The show deliberately builds your connection to the characters and the central mystery, holding back answers until you’re fully invested – and even then, each revelation just opens up new questions.
What really makes From stand out is its unique mix of science fiction, horror, and intense psychological drama. Critics agree it’s a high-quality show, giving it a remarkable 97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
‘From’ Season 5 Is Already a Certainty
If you’ve been putting off watching From because you weren’t sure if it would get a proper ending, you can relax – there won’t be any unresolved cliffhangers. The show has already been renewed for a fifth season – which will be its last – before Season 4 even premieres this weekend. And thankfully, this was the plan from the start, so fans will finally get the answers they’re looking for, though there’s a slight twist.
Griffin and director Jack Bender jointly announced they’ve started working on Season 5, bringing the story closer to its end. According to their statement, the new season will resolve lingering questions, though those answers may bring up even more. Expect plenty of emotional and frightening moments along the way.
