KFC reveals Daredevil Zinger menu with three different levels of spice

KFC is introducing new, extra-spicy Zinger menu items as part of a challenge to see how much heat customers can handle.

Okay, so my favorite fast food place just announced a new thing called the Daredevil Zinger. Basically, starting April 20th, they’re rolling out these spicy chicken sandwiches over four weeks, and it’s all about how much heat you can handle! They’ve got three different spice levels, so you can work your way up if you’re a bit of a spice newbie, or jump right into the fire if you’re a seasoned pro like me. I’m already planning my challenge!

Customers can pick their preferred level of heat – Sweet Chilli for mild, Supercharger for medium, or Sriracha Firecracker for extra spicy – making each meal a customized experience instead of just a typical fast food order.

There’s so much spice in this menu, we’re surprised it wasn’t part of a Dune collab.

The Daredevil Zinger Burger is KFC’s new star menu item, a spicier version of their classic Zinger fillet. What makes it special is that you can choose your level of heat! It’s loaded with cheese, jalapeños, lettuce, and dressing, and you can pick from three different sauces to get exactly the kick you want.

As a fan, I’ve noticed they’ve really tiered their heat levels! Sweet Chilli is the mildest, Supercharger kicks things up a notch, and Sriracha Firecracker is seriously hot – definitely for spice lovers. What I really love is they’ve added a habanero bun, which gives a little extra heat to every bite, no matter which sauce you choose!

KFC is also offering Daredevil Loaded Fries with these burgers. They’re seasoned fries topped with popcorn chicken and jalapeños, all tossed in a mix of Sweet Chilli and Zinger Ranch sauce.

This limited-time menu is available at select locations across the UK and for delivery until May 17th.

Many brands are now competing to offer spicier food options. Last year, for example, Popeyes created a menu inspired by the popular web series ‘Hot Ones,’ featuring its famously intense hot sauce.

I was so excited when McDonald’s teamed up with Frank’s RedHot earlier in 2026! It was awesome to see them add a little spice to some of their classic menu items – definitely a welcome change!
