What happened at the end of Season 2?
Okay, so at the end of Season 2, Lexi’s play was intense. It totally made all the hidden drama and feelings between everyone finally explode – it was classic Euphoria, honestly. It was the kind of messiness and emotion you expect from that show, and it was amazing to watch!
The play pushes its characters to face difficult realities. Cassie, in particular, struggles deeply when her personal life is revealed during the performance, ultimately leading to the end of her friendship with Maddy after a heated argument.
Nate breaks up with Cassie and reports his father to the police, providing them with proof of his wrongdoing.
Fez experiences a traumatic event when a SWAT team raids his home, resulting in Ashtray’s death and his own arrest, leading to a long prison sentence.
Rue, after a difficult period of drug withdrawal, starts to recover. Through her own account, we learn she stayed sober for the remainder of the school year, leaving the series with a somewhat hopeful ending.
