So, Level-5 just dropped some awesome news during their Level-5 Vision 2026 stream – they’re bringing back Snack World with a new version called Snack World Reloaded! They haven’t said when it’s coming out yet, but I’m hyped to hear it’ll be on the Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC through Steam. Definitely keeping an eye on this one!
This game is essentially a remake of Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl – Gold, which originally came out in Japan for the Nintendo Switch in April 2018, and later in the West in February 2020.
Akihiro Hino explained that the game will be significantly updated with completely reworked gameplay and controls, essentially making it feel like a new title. The remake will also include a new mode featuring a unique story told from the point of view of Chup, the main character from the Snack World anime.
