Sydney Sweeney‘s hit HBO series is back on top.
Sweeney is quickly becoming a major star in Hollywood. She recently headlined The Housemaid, a huge box office success that earned nearly $400 million worldwide. The film also featured Brandon Sklenar, known from 1923, and Amanda Seyfried, who has been nominated for an Academy Award. A second Housemaid movie is planned for release on December 17, 2027.
Before her upcoming film, Sweeney has been steadily gaining recognition through her television work. She’s appeared in acclaimed shows like The Handmaid’s Tale, Sharp Objects, The White Lotus, and Euphoria. Notably, three of these popular series were produced by HBO, and she’s already scheduled to return to one of them, though another project will launch before that happens.
According to FlixPatrol, the TV show Euphoria is now the 4th most popular series on HBO Max globally. It’s currently outperforming shows like Privileges, The Passion, and Doc. Only three shows rank higher on HBO Max’s worldwide list: the new series DTF St. Louis and Rooster, which both feature impressive casts, and The Pitt, which is in its second season.
The HBO series Euphoria is already a streaming hit, even before its third season premieres! Viewers are tuning in early, anticipating the new episodes starring Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, and the rest of the cast. Season 3 will officially debut on HBO on Sunday, April 12th.
As of today, Euphoria is currently a top trending show in 33 different countries – a significant accomplishment! Although it isn’t the most-watched show on HBO Max in any of those countries right now, that’s likely to change with the release of season 3. Currently, the show’s highest ranking is 2nd place, achieved in Bolivia, Chile, and Nicaragua.
With season 3 of Euphoria on the way, the show is gaining popularity again in the United States. Right now, it’s the 4th most-watched series on HBO Max across the country, performing better than shows like The Comeback and Born to Bowl. It’s still behind the top three shows—DTF St. Louis, Rooster, and The Pitt—both domestically and worldwide.
Although reviews for the third season of Euphoria aren’t available yet, the show remains incredibly popular with viewers. Currently, it has an 87% rating from critics and an 83% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. With the new season starting this weekend, Euphoria is expected to become even more popular on HBO Max.
