Collectible statues of Resident Evil‘s Leon S. Kennedy are getting a lot of attention online because of the revealing outfit—or lack of one—on a particular version of the figure.
Raccoon City Studio and Super Hero Studio have unveiled two collectible figures of Leon from the survival horror game series. One version, in particular, is generating a lot of buzz among fans.
Leon statue includes unexpected swimsuit version
The statues are available for pre-order now and depict Leon in several different outfits. These range from his typical police uniform, perfect for fighting zombies, to a more unexpected look – Leon in a swimsuit.
It’s doubtful these collectibles are officially approved by Capcom. The website selling them doesn’t credit the game’s creator, and Capcom’s logo isn’t featured in any of the advertising, suggesting they are likely unofficial products.
New product listings show these figures will be available in two sizes: 1/4 and 1/6 scale. Prices will vary from $46 to $370 based on the specific version you choose.
Based on his look in promotional images, the Leon figure seems to be modeled after his younger self from the Resident Evil 2 and 4 remakes. This contrasts with his more aged and weathered appearance in this year’s Requiem game.
Leon Kennedy already has a huge fanbase, and revealing who his wife is would likely cause a massive reaction from players if Capcom ever decided to share that information.
