Horrifying Yoshi bath bomb goes viral for all the wrong reasons

Get ready, Mario and Yoshi lovers! A new Yoshi-themed bath bomb is making the rounds online, and it’s… unsettling, to say the least. One fan shared a picture, and it’s definitely giving people nightmares.

Bath bombs are designed to make bath time more enjoyable and relaxing, whether by adding fizz, delightful smells, or beneficial minerals for your skin. Because of this, they’ve become incredibly popular lately, and many are now made in partnership with popular games, movies, and TV shows.

Okay, so they’re making bath bombs out of video game characters now, which is pretty cool. But I just saw one based on Yoshi… and honestly, what came out of the ‘egg’ wasn’t Yoshi at all! It was… seriously unsettling. Definitely a bath bomb nightmare, not a cute dinosaur surprise.

Yoshi bath bomb leaves fans shocked

A fan shared a video on X (formerly Twitter) showing off a Yoshi egg bath bomb. The video became popular quickly as the bath bomb dissolved, turning the water from white to green, and finally to red.

Okay, so I was dropping a Yoshi-themed bath bomb, and things got…weird. Normally, Yoshis aren’t red except for their shell and the little spines on their head, and this thing released so much color, I honestly thought something bad had happened to the figure inside! It really looked like it wasn’t going to survive the fizz.

Fans immediately flooded the comments section with jokes, with one writing, “Why did it start bubbling and spreading his Yoshi juice? LOL.”

People reacted with shock and dismay. One commenter asked, “What have they done to Yoshi?!” while another joked, “There’s so much Yoshi-flavored liquid in the tub now.” Many others described the scene as horrifying, calling it like something from a horror movie and expressing sadness over the fate of their favorite character.

Plus, when the egg finally dissolved, there wasn’t a Yoshi toy or any prize inside—it was just a red Fire Flower-shaped soap, which probably caused the red coloring.

Thankfully, people pointed out that other egg designs also include a green color that appears during the dissolving process, so fans can enjoy the Yoshi egg without worrying about anything unexpected happening.
