Melissa Barrera’s R-Rated Movie & More Included in Netflix Releases This Week

From April 6th to 12th, Netflix will be adding the movie Scream (2022), directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett. This is the fifth installment in the Scream series and marks the first time Paramount Pictures produced a film in the franchise, following the closure of the original production company.

This horror movie, rated R, centers on Sam Carpenter as she investigates a series of attacks by Ghostface that targeted her sister. She teams up with Dewey Riley to uncover the truth. The film was well-received by critics and proved to be a financial hit, earning $138 million on a $24 million budget.

The movie stars Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, and a talented supporting cast.

The sequel, A Quiet Place Part II, is now streaming on Netflix. The movie takes place in a world overrun by terrifying creatures, and follows Regan and her family as they fight to survive. They discover a way to fight back: using high-pitched sounds to defeat the aliens.

Season 3 of the Netflix drama, Turn of the Tide, is on its way! The series follows Eduardo’s story after a life-altering discovery: a boat full of cocaine.
