Baseball team unveils two-foot-long hot dog called The Glizzilla

The Colorado Rockies are now selling a massive, two-foot-long hot dog called The Glizzilla – and it’s topped with mac and cheese! It’s true!

Sports teams globally have been improving the food they offer fans in recent years, and Major League Baseball is leading the way with increasingly creative and unusual menu choices.

With the 2026 season now starting, teams are finally revealing their preparations – not just in how they play, but also with the food they’re offering.

So, the Colorado Rockies are seriously upping the ante at their stadium! They’ve got this thing called the Glizzilla – it’s a two-foot-long hot dog, and it’s absolutely massive. As a gamer who appreciates epic loot, I gotta say, that’s a power-up I’d definitely go for!

The Glizzilla is only available at Rockies games

The Colorado Rockies are now selling the Glizzilla – a two-foot-long hot dog smothered in mac and cheese!

However, you can get other toppings on there if you so choose.

The NL West team doesn’t want fans to eat this hot dog alone. They’re promoting it as a shareable item, and it’s only sold at one location within the stadium.

The two-foot-long hot dog has received a varied response online, with some people expressing strong dislike for it.

Honestly, seeing people actually buy this thing was a little scary. One person joked it’d be a perfect second date – sharing it like Lady and the Tramp! But seriously, everyone was questioning how you’d even tackle it. Another player pointed out the bun wouldn’t stand a chance against the first bite, and they were probably right!

Besides the popular Glizzilla, Rockies games now offer some unique food choices like a Pizza Donut – a donut shaped like a pizza – and alcoholic ice cream.

If you’re unable to visit Colorado, you can still enjoy a “dessert chicken” bucket – the New York Yankees are selling them throughout the entire baseball season.
