Now that marketing is starting for the new Harry Potter series, HBO is giving fans a first look at how the show is being made. Following the release of the initial trailer, the network is highlighting its commitment to creating a magical world using real sets and effects. While the original Harry Potter films remain beloved, HBO is investing heavily in this adaptation, beginning with the first story, Philosopher’s Stone.
HBO Max has unveiled the trailer for a new special called Finding Harry: The Craft Behind the Magic, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. Premiering on April 5th, the special features interviews with the original cast and reveals how the movie’s sets—like Diagon Alley, the Potions classroom, and the Great Hall—were actually built. It also showcases the animatronic creatures used, a different approach from the films which relied heavily on digital effects. You can watch the trailer now.
